Socks for Heroes Open 2026

With all the unrest in the world, one thing is for sure, American Servicemen and Women continue to need our help. Socks for Heroes has always been available to provide a basic comfort for those who give so much to provide us with our security. Since May of 2011, through your generosity and support, we have been able to provide our military with over one million pairs of new boot socks. In 2026, the world does not seem to be getting any safer, so we’re back at it with the Socks for Heroes Open on April 26th, at the Camp Pendleton Recreation Range from 8AM-1PM.

This shoot will be limited to 60 participants.

We’ll be sending rounds downrange to raise money for us to send socks overseas to help the men and women who serve our Nation as they stand the watch.

This will be somewhat more relaxed format than our standard event. We’ll be shooting rifles only, and at a distance, with targets from 25 yards to 500 yards.

Here are the firearms we’ll be shooting:

  • Sig Sauer MPX Carbine - 9MM

  • Kriss Vector Carbine - 9MM

  • Sig Sauer 516 Patrol Rifles (2) - .556 Caliber

  • HK MR 556 – the civilian version of the Marine Infantry Assault Rifle - .556 Caliber

  • Sig Sauer MCX Spear LT – Special Operations Rifle - .556 Caliber

  • IWI Tavor – Israeli Battle Rifle - .556 Caliber

  • IWI Galil – Israeli Battle Rifle - .556 Caliber

  • FN SCAR 16 – Special Operations Rifle - .556 Caliber

  • Sig Sauer GEN1 MCX – Special Operations Rifle - .556 Caliber

When we’re done, we’ll fire up the BBQ

*Firearms are subject to change if we can get our hands on something cooler, or in the event of malfunctions or safety concerns

  • Five Entry Package - $600

Each sponsorship comes with signage with your organization or families name and logo, along with shooting slots at the event which you can use or donate to Wounded Warriors, Vets, or Americans serving on Active Duty.
